Mr. and Mrs. Roussel

Arthur and Robin had an incredible day! It began at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown New Orleans where Robin and her loved ones were getting ready. For south Louisiana, it was a cold but beautiful day! They decided on a daytime wedding so the wedding started at 11 AM so makeup, hair, etc. had to start early. The seemingly small details were absolutely exquisite!

In spite of the cold weather, we were able to take some gorgeous photos of the bride and her loved ones outside the hotel. They were great "sports" and had a smile the entire time! After that, we headed to the church where Arthur met us for their first look. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Ceremony Time

For the ceremony, Arthur and Robin chose St. Joseph Church. It was stunning! The way the arches met the ceiling with the brown vintage pews was nothing short of amazing! In the front of the church was white marble and it looked beautiful! It just added to the ambiance of the day!

Arthur & Robin

Arthur and Robin are both just kindhearted people. When I met them, it was clear they were crazy about each other - not in an over-the-top public display of affection but sweet, gentle love. Robin has a beautiful smile and seems to be happy all the time. Arthur is the perfect, steady gentlemanly compliment to Robin. I am so thankful I was able to be a part of their day!

The Reception

The reception was held at the Audubon Tea Room where the amazing music (by the Yat Pak) was lively and fun, the food was yummy, and the setting was beautiful! They danced and visited with friends and family and finished out the day with a second line - classic New Orleans style. Everything was amazing!
