Jordan and Julia
These two just made my job so easy! I hadn't shot at Fountainbleu State Park in Covington, LA in a while so you can understand how excited I was when that's where they chose. Fountainbleu has lots of options to shoot at with so many different backgrounds and spots. It had rained the day before so there were lots of wet spots but still definitely some great options of where to shoot. There's a little "beach" area, a building with white columns on one side and arches on the other, trees with moss everywhere, and more! All of this just added to my excitement! Pair this with an exquisite couple, Jordan and Julia, and you have pure perfection!
These two definitely did not damper my excited spirit! From the moment they showed up, we started talking and just enjoyed each other's company! I could tell they had put some thought into this session and I knew it was going to be amazing!
I met Julia for the first time at a bridal show at Cedar Post Barn in Albany, Louisiana where I was a vendor. From the first time I talked to Julia on the phone, I knew she was going to be a joy to even know! She told me all about Jordan and how she was so excited to marry him. She told me he was more of an introvert and the different things she loved about him. Julia was so so easy to talk to and so relatable. I used to be a teacher and she is currently a teacher so we had that in common. The conversation flowed and when she booked her wedding with me, I couldn't wait, of course for their wedding, but I was ecstatic to get to meet them and do their engagement photos!
Something I LOVE about being a wedding photographer is meeting new people and becoming friends with amazing couples! These two, Jordan and Julia, sure did not disappoint. I just fell in love with them and that was just their engagement session! I feel beyond honored that they chose me for their big day!
